Vegas Vacation

Ah, Virginia…almost as fun as Vegas…almost.  Yes, I may be covered in a thin layer of Vegas-dirt, I may be a bit poorer and I may have the head-cold from hell, but I’m back.  In case you missed me, here are a few photos chronicling my antics…

 First stop :  The Hoover Dam (well, first stop after the slot machines.)

Lookin’ good!  We are getting ready to see The Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil.  Which was so amazing I don’t even have the words, you must see this the next time you are in Las Vegas.  You must.

Collecting escort information.  Look how sad that man is :o(  I got tired of the hundreds of people on the strip offering us information on escorts so I decided to make a game out of it and see how many I could collect.  They didn’t really know what to make of me…but I got lots of funny comments from bystanders!

My attempts to emulate the Fab Four behind me.  It didn’t work the way I thought it would.  Not sure if my camera shutter isn’t fast enough or if I’m not fast enough.  I have a feeling it’s the latter.  Big thanks to my bro-in-law for acting as my photographer and putting up with my “just one more” requests. 

 CHEERS to Venice, um, I mean Vegas! (okay, so I know it totally looks like I’m wearing a Bumpit but I’m not.  I swear.  That’s not to say a Bumpit might not live in one of my junk drawers…it’s just not living under my hair in that photo.  The more I look at it, the more I can say with confidence that I will not be rocking that hairstyle again.)

My schedule is back to normal this week: 

• Join me tomorrow at 6:15am at Alexandria WSC for 45 solid minutes of Spinning.  I’m going to use the profile and music from 10.24.09
• Join me Wednesday at 6pm at West Springfield WSC for Body Pump.  There will be new music and choroeography!  I can’t promise all 10 tracks will be new, but I’m going to do my best to pound the rest of the tracks into my head between now and Wednesday night.  
• Join me Saturday at 10am at Alexandria WSC for another 45 minutes of Spinning.  I’m not sure what we will be doing yet.  If you have any special requests email me:  darcy_vance@yahoo.com
